Our Story
Brooks Communications Solutions, a Level One BEE Company, was founded by Gushwell F. Brooks, an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, with a career of more than a decade within the media, communications and public relations space.

We are results driven, having achieved great success on behalf of clients and throughout a lengthy communications and media career.
​
Effective, efficient, reputation-based communication is essential to brand management and therefore, at a strategic level, on behalf of the organisations Gushwell F. Brooks has worked for, he was able to market the great work done and kept distracting scandals from detracting from great achievements. Gushwell F. Brooks has also implemented innovate and ground-breaking events and means to promote amazing work, that would otherwise fail to capture public imagination. We have managed to galvanise excitement about our achievements, whilst finding innovative, entertaining and thought provoking means of communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Through more than a decade of experience working within the media on radio, having written for numerous print, as well as, online media and after numerous television appearances, Brooks understands messaging which is essential for good public relations and in turn marketing. Gushwell F. Brooks also has a firm understanding of socially relevant issues in the news media, how these impact institutions, including the State, Business and Civil Society. In turn he is also very well versed in understanding and incorporating these issues of discussion into messaging and the general ethos of the organisation he works with.
